Tailings Dam Remediation

Responsible for managing and overseeing a tailings dam repair project located at the former Salmita mine site in remote Northwest Territories. The project involved addressing the necessary repairs and improvements to the tailings dam structure. Tasks included coordinating all aspects of the project, from planning and budgeting to logistics and recourse allocation. Worked closely with a team of engineers and contractors to ensure the project was completed successfully and in compliance with regulatory requirements. Overseen the implementation of safety measures and environmental considerations throughout the project.
